Black Country Rangers 1-4 Warstones Wanderers Reserves

Match Report
The game started well, but with Black Country Rangers dominating the 1st 20 minutes, knocking the ball around.

Warstones gradually felt their way into the game, and started to control the match from midfield.

3 quick goals in a 12 minute spell, with the 3rd coming on the stroke of half time, with a six pass move including Pinder Deo and Omarie Gabbidon with Nathan Gray slotting the ball over the keeper in the far corner. the other 2 gials came from Pinder Deo with a well flighted freekick which directly went in, curling the ball across the keeper into the far corner and Dean Phipps with a well timed header, leaping up above the Rangers keeper from a Simeon Townsend cross.

Half time:  Black Country Rangers 0-3 Warstones Wanderers Reserves
The Wanderers started the 2nd half the same way as the 1st ended, dominating play.

Rangers continued with their long ball and cross field tactics, which the Wanderers backline dealt with the threat well, limiting the Rangers chances.

Warstones  continued to push for a further goal, which deservedly came with a swift counter attack, quickly getting the ball up front, with some one and two touch passing, before Gavin Johns was presented with an easy tap in.

Black Country Rangers finally got a goal on the brink of full time with a penalty, which was extremely debatable, leaving players fromth sides confused. However the resulting spot kick ended up in the roof of the net.

An excellent performance and a deserved win for the lads.

Match Report v Hanwood Utd
The game started at a slow tempo, with Hanwood creating chances early on, with some dangerous high crosses into the box.

Warstones gradually came into the game, creating the best chance of the half, with Pinder Deo and Omarie Gabbidon involved with some precise quick passes, linking up before Gabbidon forcing a decent save from Utd keeper.

Hanwood created further chances, notably when their No.10 beat a defender before firing a well struck shot heading for the roof of the net from a 12 yard angle, which was superbly punched over by keeper Max Small, keeping the scores level at half time.

Half time: Warstones Wanderers Reserves 0-0 Hanwood Utd

The second half started with Warstones having the better of the possession and starting to dominate play, creating chance after chance, but just couldn't find the back of the net.

The breakthrough came around 15 minutes after the break, with a hopeful up and under cross, which dipped and curled in the wind and landed into the top corner leaving keeper Max Small with no chance.
A  couple of individual mistakes from left back Bubs Samon, let Hanwood forwards in, with both chances finding the back of the Warstones net.

Warstones later had a a couple more chances, but with to no prevail, with the Hanwood goalie saving well from Omarie Gabbidons well struck half volley, 5 minutes later Warstones created another good chance between Pinder Deo and Nathan Gray, linking up well with the shot from Deo being saved once again by Utd keeper.
